How It Works vs Fantasy Football About FPG
About

A simpler way to play.

FPG is a Premier League prediction game without the homework. One pick per round, no squads, no transfers, no chips — just football and a leaderboard.

Why FPG exists

Fantasy football is fun, but it asks a lot. Lineups, captains, transfers, chips, injury watches, double gameweeks. For people who love the Premier League but don't have the bandwidth for a second job, the gap between "I want to play something with my mates" and "I have time to manage a squad" was wide.

FPG closes that gap. Pick one team each round. If they win, you score points. Bonuses for derbies, head-to-heads, lonely picks. That's the game. It takes 60 seconds. It runs the whole Premier League season.

Who built it

FPG was founded by Toby Gaskell in September 2024. It started as a small competition between friends and grew into a public app on iOS, Android, and the web.

It's still independently built and run. No ads, no microtransactions, no premium tier. If you've got feedback or an idea, send it to Toby96@sky.com — every email is read.

How it works

Every Premier League gameweek you pick one team from a fixture. Results come in, points get awarded, and you climb (or fall down) the table. The scoring system has six modifiers — read the full rules — but the core is dead simple: win and you score, lose and you don't.

You can play solo against the global table, or set up a private league with friends. See how it works, or compare it to Fantasy Premier League if you're coming from FPL and tired of the faff.
