How to Play

Everything you need to pick smarter, score more, and stay top of the table — all six scoring components explained.

The Basics

Each Premier League round, pick one team from a single fixture. Your team's result earns you points. You can pick each team a maximum of twice per season — so choose wisely.

Scoring components

Six ways to win — or lose.

Points stack up from multiple sources each round. Know each modifier before you pick.

Basic Points

The foundation. Points come directly from your team's result. Get this right and everything else is a bonus.

LOSS

Head to Head

If two players pick opposing teams in the same fixture, it becomes a direct duel. Winner gets a bonus, loser takes a hit.

Derby Match

Local rivalries raise the stakes. A draw punishes you — there's no escaping the tension of a derby without a result.

Draw Means More

Special rounds where draws reward big. The round type is revealed when it goes live — anticipating it is half the game.

Lonely Pick

Be the only player to pick a winning team and you earn a bonus. Contrarian calls are rewarded when they land.

Double Points

All points are multiplied — positive and negative. A great pick pays double. A bad one costs double. High risk, high reward.

WIN
×2
DRAW
×2
LOSS
×2
Equal Points

When two players are tied on points, positions are split by accumulated goal difference from all picked teams across the season.

Missing a Pick

Miss the deadline and you'll be auto-assigned a team. If they earn positive points, you're docked 1. Negative points are awarded in full.

Worked example

FAQ

Common questions.

You'll be auto-assigned a team. If they score positive points, you'll be docked 1 from the total. If they score negative, you receive those in full — the penalty only applies when the auto-pick benefits you.
Yes — each team can be picked a maximum of twice per season. Once you've used both picks on a team, they're off the board. Plan your doubles carefully; the best teams go fast.
If you pick a team and another player picks the opposing team in the same fixture, you're automatically in a head-to-head. The winning pick earns +1 bonus; the losing pick takes −1. If the match draws, both sides score 0 for the H2H component.
Yes. In a Double Points round, everything is multiplied by 2 — positive and negative. A subtotal of −3 becomes −6. The risk is symmetrical: reward doubles, but so does punishment.
Derby matches are pre-designated local rivalries — fixtures like the Manchester Derby, North London Derby, and Merseyside Derby. They carry modified scoring: +1 for a win, but −1 for both a draw and a loss. They're riskier than standard fixtures, so only pick a derby side if you're confident in the result.
A pick is lonely if you're the only player in the game who chose that team for that round — and they win. It rewards contrarian thinking: going against the crowd when your read is right.
